Last week, after my shopping with my mum and brother in Queensbay Mall, we walked around to find something for our hungry stomach. However, due to the school holiday and lunch time, almost every restaurant and cafe are fully occupied, after walking for about 5 to 10 minutes in the mall, we went to a restaurant called Chopper Board which was a heat during its' new opening at Bukit Jambul Complex. The specialty of Chopper Board is the seats and tables were made by wood (松木) and its reasonable price. I had not been to the restaurant for a few years, so decided to have my lunch there.
The signature dish of Chopper Board is Black pepper chicken rice or chicken chop. My mum ordered this as her lunch and her comment is still good but the taste is not as good as few years ago.
I had their spicy fish rice and I think it is consider ok and it is not as spicy as named. Suitable for everyone.
This Sago Melaka is my mum's favourite. You can also order when you visit there.
Besides, my brother ordered black pepper chicken noodle, the taste is same with the one my mum ordered and the difference is this is with noodle.
The ginseng tea and chopper soup are also foods that you can order if you visit the restaurant in the future. Enjoy eating and please do not waste food! :)

Different pots of colorful, nicely arranged flowers.
Prize winner of potted flowers and miniature trees.
Looks like a man wearing sun glass and waiting for someone to fetch him home. Cute isn't?Orchids (hu ji) - my secondary school science teacher use to call me orchid due to my surname 'hu'. I like orchid due to its colors and textures which makes me feel like a cloth made of cotton and the nice, comfortable colors or patterns.

Thanks for spending your time reading my post! Hope you will enjoy reading my post and photos!

Last Thursday, I had my 3rd trip to Bukit Genting where there is a place called Bukit Genting Leisure & Restaurant or Mini Genting which is located at the top of the mountain, quite a secret place where even lots of penangites also do not know about it.
You can reach there through Air Itam to Balik Pulau Road; Relau-Balik Pulau Road; after that you just keep going until you see sign board showing Bukit Genting Leisure & Restaurant , go inside you will see some chicken coops along the road, going through incline and winding road, keep your breath and hold on your handle during the exciting journey to the top of the Bukit Genting where the restaurant is located.
This is what you will see when you reach there. The environment of Bukit Genting Leisure & Restaurant
A cute little statue in Balinese style.
At the top of Bukit Genting, you can take a lot of good view from the hill of Balik Pulau, paddy field, sea and etc..
View of an unknown island at the sea. I like this picture!Wide paddy field and Balik Pulau Town.
Garden and nice green plants.
Place for kids to play around and have fun.
Night view of Bukit Genting
That's all my trip to Bukit Genting! :) hope you will enjoy it!

Date: Monday, 1st December, to Tuesday 3rd December 2008
Itinerary:
Bayan Lepas, Penang - Ipoh, Perak - Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur - Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya -Bayan Lepas, Penang.
Monday morning, I woke up around 4.30am, started the trip early morning, around 6am, look around the surrounding of Penang, so quiet and not crowded. I like the breeze of cold, breezy wind and fresh air in the morning, makes me feel like I am in heaven. lolz.
Passed through the Penang bridge, had a nice view of the Komtar and also the port at Seberang Perai. Everything is still in sleep mode, no activities started at the early morning. On the bridge, containers which accommodate workers and also machines laid quietly along the bridge. No traffic jams on the bridge, few cars and I felt comfortable without all those massive traffics and noise.
Had my breakfast at Ipoh, not very clear which area it is, I had dried mihun with a bowl of Yong Tau Fu, quite nice but I think Penang's food is much better. lolz.. After feeding my hungry stomach, continue the journey to Kuala Lumpur (KL).
Reach KL around 11am, first thing was to find the hotel, corona Inn which is located at Jalan Tong Shin, off Jalan Bukit Bintang, it is a 3 star hotel which is near to Jalan Alor or Food street. I rate the hotel 2 and half out of 5 star, it can be considered as a budget hotel which suits all those backpackers. The room rate is cheap with a simple facilities. But for those who want a more comfortable rooms, I would recommend the following hotel which is One world hotel, located in Petaling Jaya. 5 star hotel, good service, marvellous room and facilities, connected to One Utama shopping centre and also near to IKEA, Ikano Power Center, The Curve and etc. I will intro and talk more about the One World Hotel on the next post.
Had a visit around the Bukit Bintang area, first we went to the Sungei Wang Plaza, Imbi Plaza and lastly Berjaya Times Square. These three shopping malls are located near to each other where you can have a 5 to 10 minutes walk to reach each malls. Sungai Wang Plaza and Imbi Plaza is located together along the Jalan Bukit Bintang, where as Berjaya Times Square is located along Jalan Imbi which is one street distance from Jalan Bukit Bintang.
We reached Berjaya Times Square from Sungai Wang Plaza about 10 minutes, crossing the road, flyover bridge and after squeezing around the crowded people and cars, finally we reached Borders Bookstore in Berjaya Times Square.
This photo below shows the surroundings of the Berjaya Times Square lobby.
The beautiful, enormous Christmas tree located at the center of the lobby in front of the main entrance of the shopping mall. It attracts a lot of visitors and tourists to take photos and look at it, as you can see from the photo. A lot of them take photos when they step into the mall, including me too. Haha!
After taking lift up to level 10 of the square, this is what I saw from level 10 to the Cosmo's World Theme Park at level 5. Cosmo’s World Theme Park, the Largest Indoor Theme Park in Malaysia has an overwhelming size of 133,000 square feet and is one of the main attractions in Berjaya Times Square. (Quoted from website).
The photos below show the roller coaster at the theme park, it is really scary when you watch the roller coaster go up and down, upside down on a thin railway, you sure will be afraid of it!

After I left the square, we headed to Petaling street or known as Chinatown, there are a lot of hawkers selling stuff with cheap and economical prices, it is a very crowded place, if you want to visit there, my advice is do not bring any handbags, keep and care of your valuables during visiting there.
Opposite Petaling Street, there is a place called SinMa Shopping center, we go there passing through a overhead bridge, on the bridge you can see a lot of cars, buses, motors underneath along the road.
And these what we had for my lunch at SinMa Shopping Center at a restaurant called 西门町餐厅, it is a restaurant which is designed and sell foods based on Taiwan, Xi Men Ding.
The spicy noodle I had is really spicy and quite delicious. Its spiciness really makes you feel like headache and suit for those who like to eat spicy food.
Besides that, sweet honey chicken chop rice set that my brother ate consist of a meatball soup, honey lemon tea and a dessert which is an jelly (not very nice),the chicken is quite tender and
the meatballs in the soup are nice with the chilli provided by the restaurant.
Next day, we stay in Bandar Utama's One World Hotel, I greatly recommend this new, 5 star hotel for you when you want to visit Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya which is also near to Mutiara Damansara and also Bukit Kiara.
We had visited IKEA, The Curve and also One Utama Shopping Mall in a day, I feel lucky because Malaysia Saving Sales are now everywhere in every malls from 29th November 2008 to 4th January 2009, so I managed to buy some clothes with a cheaper prices. :) So happy!!
I also had a pair of tired legs when back to Penang but with a satisfied feeling in my heart.
